This is a day set aside to be thankful! But shouldn’t we be thankful everyday. We are so busy running our daily lives that we forget to stop and be thankful for those lives. The running kids to practices, the appointments, the grocery shopping, the chance to pay bills, the cleaning of our homes. Each day we need to take 2 minutes and be thankful for our lives, and the people in them. While you are enjoying your dinner today with your family, stop and thank each one of them for their lives and them just being themselves. And continue that thankfulness tomorrow, and Saturday and Sunday and every other day of the week. I am going to try to do the same. I need to remember to be thankful for the piles of dirty clothes, the dirty floors that we sweep and the messy rooms that we live in. There are many people in the world that don’t have any of those things.
I'm glad you stopped by Managers of the Home. My name is Wendy and I can't wait to get to know YOU! Above everything, I am a child of God. I can not imagine doing life without Him to talk to, to lean on, and to get daily strength from. As I get older, I see the real importance of a meaningful relationship with Him. I have been married to my best friend for 32 years! We have 8 kids, ranging from 31 to 10! It's almost like having 2 families since we have 5 older kids, 31, 26, 25, 23, and 21 and 3 younger kids, 13, 12, and 10.
